As Tony Stark, the cocky millionaire weapons mogul, Downey infuses the part with just the right amount of swagger, humor and bravado. His portrait of a flawed man who discovers his legacy to be one that contributes to death and pain and decided to destroy what he has created is brilliant. The role of Iron Man seems made for an actor like Downey.
